I've included some example emails, calls, and a training manual (from my previous company) to help you get started. Don't worry if some of the terminologies are unfamiliar or if there are some concepts you don't understand just yet, and there will obviously be a lot of training so that revenue/commissions can be maximized.

Let's chat after you've reviewed these, you can text me to set up a time. Thanks so much for taking the time to speak with me this afternoon!

Example: PRE-AIRLINING
From me to lead:
Hi X,

Thanks so much for sending me your materials, and I truly appreciate it! I've had a chance to review your proposal in detail along with the comments provided by your professor, and I will definitely be able to work with you on the refinements needed so that you will be able to proceed with the remainder of your dissertation requirements in the near future. I can see that you've been able to get off to a good start in terms of defining the gap for your study and to discuss the background literature review--I understand that the concept of utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the purposes of teaching is relatively novel in the context of the Saudi education system, especially when considering that there is an on-going debate regarding whether EFL teachers can be more productive using ICT when compared to the traditional setting. I also understand that productivity can be measured via traits including motivation, adaptation, and preparedness as per the additional gap that you identified. Our team will be able to assist with developing the remainder of your proposal content based on these considerations, with our assistance covering any drafting or extension needed to your work, in addition to any editing or revisions needed.

For the Literature Review, the work that will be needed is for us to edit your previous content, and to include discussions of the recommended sources provided by your professors. There appears to be a number of suggestions including deeper discussions of pedagogy--we'll be able to add to your discussion of how pedagogy can be described as a complex notion, how it is treated in ICT literature and the beliefs of teachers regarding pedagogy. There are other recommendations including processes involved in planning the ICT curriculum, student epistemologies, the relevance of student improvement and teacher-student roles, and potential problems of change (as per Fullan and Smith, 1999) as well as the syllabus design for a typical ICT program. We'll be able to formulate the section according to these requirements in addition to the general editing and content revisions suggested.

For the Methodology, we'll be able to assist you with devising the case study research design adequate for gathering the experiences and perceptions of students and teachers regarding the e-learning environment. There are a number of seminal sources we'll be able to cite including Yin and Stake who laid the groundwork for modern case study research--the methodology section would generally comprise of describing the population and sample, describing the rationale for choosing the case study approach, and the plan for data collections and analysis. To this end, we'll be able to devise a thematic analysis protocol needed to process the qualitative data (e.g. interviews, focus groups, archival data) that you will be gathering from your participants, with step-by-step instructions on how the transcripts will be read, coded, and analyzed using software (e.g. NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.Ti, Dedoose). Of course, in looking slightly forward, we'll also be able to assist with the data analysis after the completion of your data collections process.

In the realm of editing, we are very familiar with all styles, and will be able to work with the Chicago style that you're using. This means that our editors will be able to check for all sentence-level items (e.g. spelling, grammar, passive voice, anthropomorphism), formatting, and references errors throughout your work on every submission. In particular, we'll ensure that you're always citing correctly and that there is no missing reference on either your draft or the references list.

Normally, the cost for our assistance with the scope of work described here would be $2,500 and cover any work needed until the final approval of your entire proposal as described in your meeting notes. Based on our familiarity with studies in Education, I will be able to provide a reduction in the cost of 20%, so that you're fully covered for a total of $2,000. An initial payment of half the amount ($1,000) will be needed for us to get started with the work, and the remainder will not be due until before the final delivery of the work in the next 1-2 weeks. Any revisions are included in the cost, and we will continue to work with you until all of your reviewers are completely satisfied with the work provided. For payments, you can use the link provided here (http://approvalacademicconsulting.com/payment/) or reach us at our 1-212-609-1354 New York number during our normal hours of business--from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays, and from 12 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, Eastern Standard Time.

I am here to provide any clarification needed prior to getting started, and let me know your thoughts as soon as you get a chance. Have a wonderful weekend, and I am here to assist with your journey anytime!

Best,
Solomon

From lead to me:
Dear Solomon,
Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately I can't afford the amount of money that you asked for. I think it's a lot for a proposal.
Regards

From me to lead (AIRLINED FROM $2,000 to $1,400):
Hi X,

Thanks so much for your prompt feedback. I understand that our current focus is on the proposal, but there are extensive revisions being asked for, in addition to the case study methodology which will need to be devised from scratch. In the interest of working with you throughout the process, I am willing to personally work on parts of your proposal so that we'll be able to work with you at a lower cost--the truth is that our workload becomes lighter in the summer, and we'll have more room to handle projects as many students are on break. Of course, we'll still be assisting you until the final approval of the entire proposal--will it work for you if we reduced the overall quote to $1,400 for any assistance needed until your proposal is fully approved?

Have a wonderful weekend, and be sure to let me know if you need additional clarification or have questions. I am willing to do my very best to assist you anytime!

Best,
Solomon

From me to lead (PRE-AIRLINED FROM $1,400 to $1,000):
Hi X,

How are you? I trust that you're enjoying a wonderful weekend so far, and I wanted to quickly check in with you regarding the assistance we discussed last week with your dissertation. I do understand that the quote I provided wasn't in line with your exact budget at the time, and as the summer break is approaching at many institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom where most of our clients are, I did want to provide you with some extra flexibility in case you're still needing help with your proposal and in moving forward with the remainder of your dissertation journey. In fact, I will be able to further reduce the cost for the summer months so that we'll be able to provide full support with your proposal work for $1,000--this would cover any work needed until you're fully approved and ready to get started on the actual dissertation, and we'll be able to get started on the work for a cost of just $500. This would be a wonderful option in case you're planning to continue to work on your dissertation throughout the summer, and since we will have more room on our docket to handle all of your requests, you will enjoy very quick turnaround times with much higher quality of research and writing that will address all the comments provided by your committee.

I appreciate your interest in working with me--please do let me know if I can assist you anytime, and thanks so much once again!

Best,
Solomon

From lead to me:
Hello,
Thank you for your email.

So when you can do for me the first revision??

From me to lead:
Hi X,

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to ARC this evening! My name is Solomon Lim, and I specialize in assisting students such as yourself throughout the dissertation process. First of all, I can definitely work with you throughout the dissertation process to cover any writing needed for the work in addition to any research, analysis, and editing needed for your study. I understand that you have a topic in mind already and that you've discussed the research protocol with your guiding professor and committee--we'll be able to align your research ideas along with the methodological and theoretical understandings that will be needed in order to further develop and expand on the topic that you're working with. Our team has expertise in virtually all fields of research with analysts, consultants, editors, and writers from the most prestigious institutions in the United States and Europe, and as soon as I can obtain some more information about your specific area of study and the general guidelines needed to structure your 100-120 pages, I will be able to provide a specific plan and a quote covering ~1 year of assistance from start to finish.

Normally, the earlier stages of dissertation research involves devising a compelling gap of knowledge for your study--to this end, we'll be able to provide a review of the literature covering the recent, peer-reviewed studies on your topic, and we will also be able to assist you with identifying a relevant conceptual/theoretical framework as well as with identifying a valid instrument (e.g. surveys, secondary data, interviews, focus groups) for your study. The choice of instrument would depend on what direction you're taking for your study in terms of methodology (e.g. qualitative, quantitative), and we will be able to assist you in ensuring that we're able to describe the population and sampling scheme, the data collections process, and the data analysis plan in detail. Specifically, we'll be able to describe how software (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R, SAS for Quantitative Studies; NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.Ti, Dedoose for Qualitative Studies) will be used to code and analyze your data and the step-by-step procedure in obtaining the results and findings for your study.

Moving forward, we will be able to assist you with the data analysis itself, and we'll be able to provide the software code and output in addition to the write-up for both the Analysis and Discussion/Conclusion sections of your dissertation. Of course, we'd be providing all the interpretations needed regarding the inferences being utilized for your study, and we'll be able to provide all details regarding any limitations of your study, recommendations for future studies, and implications for positive social change to conclude your journey.

In the realm of editing, we can work with most styles including APA, MLA, Chicago, and Harvard--our editors are very adept at ensuring perfection with all sentence-level items (e.g. spelling, grammar, punctuation, flow, sentence/paragraph structure, passive voice, anthropomorphism), formatting, and the references list. In particular, we can ensure that you're always citing correctly and that all of your in-text citations have a corresponding entry in the references list.

I would love to review the ideas you have so far in terms of your research topic and any specific guidelines (e.g. checklists, rubrics, templates, meeting notes) discussed with your school committee as the first step of our collaboration, and as soon as I've had a chance to review your materials, I will be able to let you know exactly what I can do for you. I have attached a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to this email to let you know that we will not be sharing any details of your work with anyone else and that you can feel free to send me your materials anytime. For questions, we can always be reached at our 212-609-1354 New York number during our normal hours of business--from 12 pm to 9 pm on weekdays, and from 12 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, Eastern Standard Time. If you prefer, I will also be able to reach out to you anytime--just let me know when, and I will do my best to be available :-)

Let's also use my main email solomon@approvalreadyconsulting.com (cc'ed) for communication moving forward since this account is shared between several senior managers in the firm.

I look forward to working with you, X, and to assisting you until you're ready to embark on the graduation stage! Have a wonderful week ahead, and speak soon!

Best,
Solomon

Hi Solomon,

I just want to ask about the pricing of the dissertation. Please let me know what you came up with already. Thank you.

Best Regards,
X

From me to lead:
Hi X,

Thanks for your email. Although I haven't received your guidelines, I can propose a general structure (see the zip file attached) that we can work with in terms of developing your PsyD study over the course of next ~1 year or so. For most PsyD studies, the cost involved will be within the slightly lower-middle range that I provided you, and I am happy to include any data analysis work, editing (e.g. APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard), and front/back items (e.g. abstracts, appendices, TOC) needed for your work. I can still provide a detailed plan for your study if you can send me your topic ideas, guidelines, and requirements (e.g. checklists, rubrics, templates) from your degree program. Currently-what I mainly want to know is whether we'll need to submit a "topic paper" for approval prior to working on the dissertation or we can get started immediately on Chapter 1 (since I already know the scope of work needed is over ~5 chapters with 100-120 pages of overall content). As a general guideline:

Whether we are working on the topic paper or Chapter 1, our first step will be to take your topic ideas and implement a qualitative or quantitative (or mixed) research design that will best work with your study. For PsyD studies, both approaches are quite popular, and the specific approach will depend on whether you'd like to focus on the experiences/perceptions of professionals or if you'd like to focus on variables that can be measured and assessed for significance. We can then make a connection with the background literature review describing the recent studies conducted on the topic, in addition to the conceptual/theoretical framework guiding your study. For Chapters 2-5, the work left would then be to provide an exhaustive review of the literature (covering all key themes for the study), devise the methodology consisting of population/sampling scheme, instrumentation, research design, and the data collections/analysis plan, conduct the data analysis using software (e.g. NVivo, MAXQDA, ATLAS.Ti, Dedoose for Qualitative Studies; SPSS, Stata, R, SAS for Quantitative Studies), then conclude the dissertation with additional interpretations, limitations of the study, recommendations for future studies, and implications for positive social change.

In terms of the cost, I will agree to provide you with the comprehensive assistance described for $7,200 if we'll require a topic paper and $6,000 if we can start with the first chapter right away. I am also willing to divide up the payment into up to 12 parts ($600 if you need a full topic paper, $500 if we can start Chapter 1), and we can either set up a monthly plan as you suggested or divide them at the start and completion of each chapter--I prefer to work with fairly simple plans like this, although you can let me know if you have any suggestions. You can send me the documents requested above and the initial payment using the link provided here (https://approvalreadyconsulting.com/payment/) or by reaching us at our 212-609-1354 New York number during our normal hours of business (12 pm to 9 pm on weekdays, 12 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, Eastern Standard Time), and we'll get started right away!

Let me know your thoughts--I can provide a more thorough review, but I do remember you stating that you wanted to receive some form of a cost/plan today. I am here to review any materials anytime--I am looking forward to working with you, and I am here to assist you anytime!

Best,
Solomon

From lead to me:
Can we do 12 months of payment 2x a month for $6000 with a topic paper? Does the package include PowerPoint presentation, coaching with talking points as well?

From me to lead:
Hi X,

We won't be able to start the project for less than $500 (this is because we have to budget at least enough for the first draft of work), but I don't mind if the payments starting in the second month were split in two with $250 each. I also don't mind negotiating a little bit on the overall cost, but $6,000 with both the topic paper included and the defense preparation (PowerPoint, speaker notes, mock defense training) does cut into our margin a bit too much (especially if you're defending once after Ch 1-3 and once after Ch 1-5).

I'm willing to agree to $6,000 for the full scope discussed including the topic paper, and I'll be able to provide the full defense preparation for a fee of $300 on an optional basis. Let me know if this works for you, and thanks so much for your prompt feedback!

Best,
Solomon

From lead to me:
I can make a down payment of $500 this November 25th. So, we can do $6000 for the whole service including the topic paper? Will the $300 include coaching, PowerPoint presentation and talking points?

From me to lead:
Hi X,

Yes, that sounds completely fine. The defense preparation includes a PowerPoint presentation for both the proposal defense (which can be updated at final defense), speaker notes, and 1 mock oral defense session with a PhD consultant in Psychology (with unlimited followup questions via email). You can send me the complete set of guidelines along with the initial payment on 11/25 for us to get started.

I will look forward to working with you, and let me know if I can assist you anytime!

Best,
Solomon

From lead to me:
Hi Solomon,

I would like to make a downpayment now so we can start with the topic paper. I would prefer payment through PayPal so it is easy for me. I would go for the easier route of collecting data. Please let me know which is the preferred route. I also would like to focus on coping strategies as they are simpler to work on...well, based on my perception. I would also like to know your thoughts about it. So, we'll do $6000 for the whole package, right? Thank you.

Best,
X

GCU Econometrics:
Hi Douglas,

Thanks so much for sending me the current progress of your dissertation work, and I truly appreciate it! First of all, I have definitely been looking forward to working with you throughout the remainder of your dissertation journey at Grand Canyon University (GCU), and as per our previous discussion, I will be able to assist with the full development needed for your Chapters 1-3 incorporating the feedback that you received from your recent prospectus approval. I did want to mention that you forgot to attach the approved prospectus copy for my review, but this is not a problem in terms of providing the overall quote for Chapters 1-3 since I am able to review your work on specifically Chapters 1-3 so far and understand that the prospectus is at the level of "conditional approval" or "final approval" with most/all study details finalized.

I believe the most important consideration that may not have yet been finalized is the choice of software--I do remember our discussion regarding the secondary data that you've already obtained and analyzed using Stata, which may be at odds with the SPSS software that GCU typically requires for quantitative analysis. Based on what I read from the feedback so far on your research questions and the modeling approach, I understand that your methodologist would like us to opt for a more common hierarchical linear modeling approach which would be aimed at selecting a subset of variables (e.g. return on asset (ROA), human/structural/relational capital, other control variables) that are optimal for predicting future datasets with the same conventions. I agree with you that this would be a somewhat "weaker" model in that we would not be able to take into account the multicollinearity that clearly exists between the financial variables in your study, although I also understand that Econometrics modeling is typically not an expectation that the GCU reviewers have for students conducting quantitative studies.

The generalized method of moments (GMM) is actually a very straightforward modeling approach taking into account moment conditions (e.g. expected value) in order to estimate the true value of the parameter, and when compared to other time-series and variable selection approaches, its implementation will be much simpler since our computations just involve estimating moments based on the given dataset. From my perspective, I don't have a preference in terms of the approach, and I'd be more than happy to develop Chapters 1-3 using either of the two approaches as well as to utilize your choice of software (Stata or SPSS) in order to produce the analyses needed. The distinction between Stata and SPSS won't be big either since the analysis being conducted is very straightforward, and I am able to convert file formats between the two software packages in order to produce identical results using both languages if needed.

Once the methodology has been clarified, I believe we can get started with the work needed on your foundational elements (e.g. background, problem statement, purpose, conceptual/theoretical framework, research questions, research design, significance, etc.) in addition to the comprehensive literature review of 40-50 pages in length in order to explore all key themes from the literature surrounding the underlying connection between intellectual capital (i.e. human capital, structural capital, relational capital) and firm performance (measured using metrics such as ROA). The literature review will be instrumental in allowing us to provide a comprehensive review of recent results from the extant literature pertaining to capital-related factors contributing to firm performance in developing Asian nations and to justify our choice of control variables to be adjusted for in our analysis--the argument needed here is to justify, based on the literature findings, that your firm-level control variables (e.g. loans, firm size, firm age, manufacturing) and macro-level control variables (e.g. regulatory, inflation, GDP) have been known to impact firm performance independently of intellectual capital (i.e. confounding). Aside from the recent and seminal studies which will establish our choice of methodology, we will also be able to describe the chronology of the theoretical framework involving the resource-based view theory which is quite typical of studies involving financial knowledge and understanding and the ways in which they may impact overall firm performance. Of course, there will be a big focus on ensuring that most of the studies we provide are recent, and we will always be able to abide by the standard GCU recommendations stating that we should aim to include  75-100 sources for the literature review of which ~85% or more should be published within five years of the student's graduation (2016 and beyond if you're graduating in late 2020 or 2021).

In the realm of APA editing, we'll ensure perfection with all sentence-level items (e.g. spelling, grammar, punctuation, flow, sentence/paragraph structure, passive voice, anthropomorphism), formatting, and the references list. We will always ensure formatting as per the GCU template, and we can make sure that you're always citing correctly and that all of your in-text citations have a corresponding entry in the references list.

Normally, the cost for my comprehensive assistance with the entire dissertation proposal (Chapters 1-3) would cost $4,000 and include any work needed until the final approval of all sections of work. Based on our familiarity with the typical GCU guidelines, I will be able to provide an adjustment of 10% on the cost so that you're covered for a total of $3,600 across any work needed on your first three chapters. We'll be able to get started (after you've sent me the most updated prospectus with feedback) for an initial payment of half the amount ($1,800), and the remainder will not be due until before the final delivery of the work by your requested turnaround time (1-2 weeks unless specified a priori). Any revisions are included as a part of the cost, and we will continue to work with you until all of your reviewers are fully satisfied with the work provided and you're ready to proceed with the next steps. For payment, you can use the link provided here (https://approvalreadyconsulting.com/payment/) or reach out to us at our 212-609-1354 New York number during our normal hours of business (12 pm to 9 pm on weekdays, 12 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, Eastern Standard Time), and we'll get started right away!

I look forward to working with you, Douglas, and to assisting you until you're ready to embark on the graduation stage and we can finally refer to you as Dr. Foster! I am also more than happy to schedule a call some time this week to provide any clarifications you might need from me as well as to answer any general questions you might have prior to getting started. Be sure to let me know your thoughts at your earliest convenience, and I am here to assist you anytime!
